Louisville, Kentucky

We drove to Louisville, Kentucky which was a place we had never been to before. In honor of my sister-in-law, Amy, who attended the University of Louisville, we drove by her alma mater (can't seem to post the picture of the red and black painted bridge I got a shot of) and noticed a great sense of pride that is shown there. Everything around the campus was red and black and by everything I mean bridges, signs, you name it. We drove to Churchill Downs which was neat to see but didn't have time for a tour (bummer) and then went to the Louisville Slugger Museum. We saw how they made bats but you can't take pictures of any of that and then we got our own souvenir bat on the way out! Notice I put Drew in his texas shirt for the day in honor of the Texas Longhorns playing in the College World Series. We lost in the final game but coming in second is pretty good in all of college baseball this year - go horns! :)
