Trip to Texas - Part 4 Bayou Wildlife Park

After all the family left, we had a few days left to relax and spend with my mom. She actually watched the kids two nights in a row so I could go meet some girlfriends for dinner - it was so nice and so great to catch up with them! One day we took the kids to the Bayou Wildlife Park where the animals come right up to you and eat from your feed bucket. The only problem was that it was extremely hot, like my mom nearly passed out once we got back to the car. And we didn't even go during the hottest part of the day! But it was still great to do and see. Drew was pretty quiet because he was so hot but Dilan was pointing to all the animals and seemed very intere
sted in all of them. :)

Lots of different kinds of deer and of course, they had the emus which totally remind me of Jurassic Park with those beady eyes and let's just say we rolled our windows up when they came around or ignored them when we were on the tram.
Camel eating out of some kids' buckets
Drew's favorite animal because of its horns.

water buffalo completely submerged in water and then we saw it walk out
