We met my mom in Houston after we went to Buna and decided to take the kids to the Aquarium before we headed to Lake Jackson where my mom lives. We ate dinner there and Drew loved the fish - he was really into looking at them and following them all around the restaurant. Dilan was a little more hesitant. She liked looking but pointed and frowned at them, probably because the fish were as big as she was! But we enjoyed being there and met up with one of my mom's friends and her family. After dinner, we couldn't resist taking Drew on the train ride. It was fun and interactive taking us through the tunnel with the shark tank and various sharks floating over our heads. It also told a story of a missing shark in the bayou and then we turned a corner and a mechanical shark came out of the water beside the train to scare all the kids. It was a warm but beautiful night and the Aquarium just lights up the downtown area. We really enjoyed our adventure there and then we were off to Lake Jackson for the next week!
