Drew slept in a "big boy" bed Friday and Saturday night while we were visiting my mom and Sam in Lake Jackson this past weekend. He really has outgrown the pack and play and always wakes up in the middle of the night there and has to climb in bed with us. He does still sleep in his crib at home - we are so fortunate! But David put Drew to bed in the trundle bed and waited until he fell asleep. He slept through the night and David and I were able to sleep all night long in the big king-size bed with no interruptions!!! It really is the little things that you come to appreciate as a parent.

no kidding - how our perspectives change. Congratulations on reaching yet another milestone. Don't rush getting him out of the crib - they love it and there's no harm in "forced" rest-time...be it the night or for naps. I miss our frequent chats and bouts of laughter but am so happy to keep up with you through pictures - thank goodness for technology! always, shanan
