We decided to have some fun for New Year's Eve this year. I really want to make it a special memory for my kids and not just another ordinary day so we bought some fun supplies, decorated a bit, had some friends over, cooked some chili and cornbread, and enjoyed the last day of 2011. Upon reflection with the kids, we talked about 2011 being a good year for us as a family because we moved back to Texas and closer to family as we had been hoping for. As we look forward to 2012, we are excited about David's job at SWA becoming permanent in March, getting flight and health benefits, buying a house and finally settling down! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
