Last Day of School, First Haircut, and Father's Day

Drew's last day of school was June 1st, and we took him to get a milkshake at Chick-fil-a as that is our family tradition. Drew is excited to go back to this school next year but will be leaving half-way through because our house will be ready in Frisco by the end of the year! :)
Drake is almost 20 months old and his hair was getting too long in the back. He was as cute as can be and his curls were so precious. But every mother knows when it's time to cut it and it was definitely time. I took the opportunity when my mom came in town to get her to give Drake his first hair cut.
We started off with a candy cane in hand but had to quickly turn to a chocolate chip cookie. :)
 My mom cutting away.
And afterwards... Drake was not so happy with me taking a picture of his new hairdo BUT he looks so good and like a big boy! I love it. :)
Father's Day was busy this year... we had my mom and her husband, Sam, in town because of Drew's birthday which was that weekend too, and I had to speak at church on Father's Day. Nevertheless, I came home from church and my mom and I made a huge brunch for David and Sam. Then, I took my mom and Sam to the airport while David got a nice nap and when I returned home, we cooked up a delicious steak meal. David got a new set of golf clubs and a manly golf trip last weekend for Father's Day. Here is a picture of our kiddos with David on the morning of Father's Day before we headed to church. :)

Love the angry Drake pose. Looks like a wonderful father's day. Dave deserved steak.
