Wisconsin State Fair

We went to the Wisconsin State Fair on Saturday. We ate brats (yummy!) and had the traditional cream puffs they serve up there. We also were able to get flavored milk for a quarter (including tax!). They served chocolate, strawberry, cherry vanilla, root beer (tastes like a rootbeer float) and banana (a new flavor this year). Of course, Drew had the chocolate milk with some pizza. It was all delicious fair food and it was a nice day to be there. David even found a new pair of sunglasses for $10! Drew wanted to ride the skyrider which was like a ski lift that went from one side of the fairgrounds to the other. He rode once with David and once with me. It did get hot in the afternoon and eventually we had to take Dilan out of the stroller and she immediately fell sleep in my arms and then Drew was asking to take a nap so we eventually had to part for home. But it was fun and something we wanted to do here. Unfortunately for the Milwaukee mayor, that same night while he was at the fair, he got attacked by someone with a metal pipe so I'm not sure he had as much fun as we did that day.

It looks like you guys are having so much fun! I must say, we did love hanging out at the beaches when we were in Minnesota and really miss that! Hope we can see you guys soon. Jax has been asking about Drew.

Wow, you have been on a role. Being gone over a week and not getting to a computer really set me back. Looks like you have been having fun. I will give you a call next week when the guys are back to work.

I'm so proud of you for jumping in with two feet!!! Looks like you guys are having fun in your new town. I bet the water was a lot colder than the gulf-:) Stay away from those pipe attackers!!! Or, just stay out of politics...

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Gotta love the fair food :c). If you ever get a chance, you need to go to the Minnesota State Fair. They have footlong corn dogs, mini-donuts, and roasted corn the size of your fore arm! My roommate from college lives there and I went and visited a few years ago. I've never seen a fair that big before.
