We went to the kids' open house at school tonight. They were both very proud of their accomplishments and the things they had made. It is so fun for them to show off their hard work. Drew was proud of his autobiographical poem in which he wrote that he was a "peacemaker," his map of Texas and artwork of the Alamo, and the diorama of a temperate forest where he used feathers we had donated to the project. Dilan was proud of all of her drawings and journal entries that were put together in her folder for us to see.
