Yes, it happened again. My quest to find new blog backgrounds erased all my blogs on my blog list. Now, I thought I had the perfect way to make sure this didn't happen but it did SO if you are not listed and you usually are, PLEASE let me know. I did the best I could to recover my blog list so far but I may need your help! :)
Also, how do you get your blog background? I've tried pyzam and if you want to change your background you lose everything so I am moving on from there. I've tried Mattie Kay but she has limited ones to use... so what do you suggest me try out???

Kinsey,
Check out cutestblogontheblock.com. They have very cute backgrounds and are easy to use. They have a very wide selection. I change mine every now and then...I actually changed it today, and will probably change it again soon since the one I got is just alright. I highly recommend it. I found the site just by running across it on the internet, but now a ton of my friends use them. Join the club.
oh i'm so sorry... don't ever change your background through pyzam because it will happen EVERYTIME. you need to pick a regular template and then just change the html in the layout section so that way you can change the "wall paper" of the layout...i have more detailed instructions on my tutorial "how to change your background" or the cutest blog on the block is an easy way too.
Hello Cousin David and family,
I found this today and was excited to see pictures of your family. It is good to hear something or read about your cute family.
Good to see you.

and for backgrounds I love cutestblogonthebolck.com too.
Roll your own background! It really isn't that hard. CBOTB actually has some links to sites where you can download all kinds of graphics udse to "digiscrapbook", but you can use those same graphics to make your own background.
Yes it takes more time, but only YOU will have that background on your blog!
Btw, if you use Google Reader, you can simply share the blogs you subscribe to. Simply click on layout and then select the "subscription links".
Also, unless you "created" your own widgets, all the blogger widgest are still there, even if your template changed. You can simply copy & paste the html code with all the blogger widgets. Click on "edit html" while in the layout tab, then scroll down until you see the first line of "< b:widget id=", copy from that point until the last "/ >" closing the widgets. AFAIK all the widgets that show "id='HTML'" will transfer.
You can also mess around with the width and height of all the cells on your blog to make it truly your own. It's really not terribly complicated.
If I left you confused with all my geek talk, I'm sorry! Some guys like to talk sports, I like to talk geek. ;)
Either you are as elated as I am about BYU being so good this year, or else we fell victim to your changing of the background, but it appears we have been left off your list. Hope all is going well for you guys down there and that you have not become Bulldog fans.
